Getting To Know You!

Welcome another week!

At least one week closer to Spring! I can't wait to see the Garden again. Today I worked on my Full Bloom quilt. A couple of more rows and it will be complete, which I should have done tomorrow. I have another old quilt on my quilting machine and hopefully will have it finished tomorrow as well. With the wind whistling and snow flying I decided today to watch movies and hand sew binding on the quilts. I finished two and the third one is almost done. It was a great way to spend another Winters day. Plus keeping them on my lap kept me a little warmer too. I have plans Friday to do a little shopping, so have been looking a books to find some new projects to work on. What quilt would you like to work on next. Wouldn't it be fun to do one together via the Internet. I would love to see your quilts come alive with colors. I hope you all had a great Monday and pray we get a few days of Sun this week.

Hope you have a great week ahead!

I'm working on some ideas! I really need to get busy with some binding. Even though it's not hard, it just seems like it's one thing we put off doing. Maybe we need a finish those quilts day! Wouldn't that be fun to say "I'm working on finishing my projects" and share how much we get done. That would make a very cute flyer for my blog. What days work for you?

My Best Quilting Buddy!

This is Logyn! Because she gets herself into mischief if left alone, she gets to come with me when I'm quilting. One good thing is she likes to test the quilts for comfort, warmth, and never complains, plus she listens to me talk about what I'm doing and she doesn't think I'm nuts...

Another Little Frame!

This is one of my little frames. They are very fun! I will be working on more this week, so stop back for updates.

Working on Full Bloom!

I think it will be very pretty when its finished. What do you think?

Let's have fun!

This page if for my quilting friends. Love to quilt? Want to learn? Need help? I'm only a stitch away. I made my first quilt in 1991 and haven't stopped since. I think I'm a little better now than I was back then. I definitely have more equipment and a little stash of fabric. Sew that would be my passion! I love to buy fabric, cut it apart and make a creation out of colors. I live on a farm, and simply don't get to town a lot, but love to share my knowledge and be around other people who love to quilt. I would like to gather a group of quilters via the Internet that are interested in joining my "Quilting is Fun!" Let me know if you would like to join and I will send you an invite via email. There is no fees involved, just fun for quilting friends. I will be adding pictures this week for you to see and hope you will all share with me.
